5月21日，中国（广东）-乌兹别克斯坦（撒马尔罕）经济合作论坛在广州举行。乌兹别克斯坦驻广州总领事馆总领事奥塔贝克·瓦利耶夫（Otabek Valiev），撒马尔罕州副省长奥贝克·哈姆拉耶夫（Oybek Khamrayev）、广东省商务厅二级巡视员容佩婵，以及来自乌兹别克斯坦撒马尔罕州、广东省内各行业协会、商会和40余家企业代表参加了本次会议。商会秘书长杨采熙，会员单位-金财互联控股股份有限公司等企业代表应邀参加了活动。

On May 21, the China (Guangdong)-Uzbekistan (Samarkand) Economic Cooperation Forum was held in Guangzhou. Otabek Valiev, Consul General of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, Oybek Khamrayev, Deputy Governor of Samarkand Region, Rong Pei Chan, Second Grade Inspector of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, as well as representatives of industry associations, chambers of commerce and more than 40 enterprises from Samarkand Region of Uzbekistan and Guangdong Province, attended the meeting. Otabek Valiev, Consul General of Uzbekistan in Guangzhou, sincerely invited the representatives of Guangdong enterprises to visit Samarkand and participate in the investment and construction, hoping to establish a sustainable and long-term cooperative relationship in the future.

In his speech, Deputy Governor of Samarkand Obek Hamrayev pointed out that the friendship between Uzbekistan and China has a long history. On January 24 this year, President Xi Jinping and President Mirziyoyev, who was visiting China, held talks and jointly announced that China and Uzbekistan have decided to develop an all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era and to promote the building of a China-Uzbekistan community of destiny from a higher starting point. Among them, Samarkand region, as one of the largest industrial and economic centers of Uzbekistan, not only has rich industrial, agricultural and tourism resources, but also has the advantages of peaceful and safe business environment, huge business potential, cheap energy and significant growth of the population, etc. Enterprises from Guangdong Province of China are welcome to invest in Samarkand, and are looking forward to more in-depth cooperation and exchanges between enterprises of the two countries in various fields.
