In the afternoon of December 9, the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia held an investment seminar in Guangzhou with the theme of "Energy, Petrochemical and Processing Manufacturing".Part-time Deputy Secretary General  Zhang Yu, Members Lin Qian, Guo Dongliang, Zhu Dongsheng attended the event.

省委常委、常务副省长张虎在出席活动时表示，欢迎更多沙特经贸部门和企业来粤考察交流。今后，广东愿推动粤沙建立常态化联络协调机制，支持双方能源等领域重大合作项目落地建设，加快推进中沙重大产能合作平台建设，进一步扩大粤沙双向投资合作，为促进中沙友谊作出新的贡献。

Mr. Zhang Hu, Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, said at the event that more Saudi economic and trade departments and enterprises are welcome to come to Guangdong for investigation and exchange. In the future, Guangdong is willing to promote the establishment of a regular liaison and coordination mechanism between Guangdong and Saudi Arabia, support the construction of major cooperation projects in energy and other fields, accelerate the construction of major production capacity cooperation platforms between China and Saudi Arabia, further expand two-way investment and cooperation between Guangdong and Saudi Arabia, and make new contributions to the promotion of friendship between China and Saudi Arabia.

沙特投资大臣哈立德·法利赫表示，期待与广东在经贸、投资、新能源、科技等方面开展更多交流，希望双方企业持续加强务实合作，取得更多成果。

Khalid Al-Falih,Saudi Investment Minister,said he looked forward to more exchanges with Guangdong in the areas of economy and trade, investment, new energy, science and technology, and hoped that enterprises of both sides would continue to strengthen practical cooperation and achieve more results.
